How to use this wiki
You will have direction on what I want on the assignments, but you will have considerable leeway as to how to write them, what to include, how much detail to include and so on. You can approach these assignments as opportunities to engage with your own learning, or not. In part the value of this course for you depends on how you see your tasks on these assignments.
Skills you will need in the wiki
Upload a word document and link it to your page. You will need this skill if you don't want to simply type or paste your reports and other documents in the wiki.
Steps
Upload the File

Click on the Files link to upload a file.

Use Browse to find the file on your local hard drive.

Click Upload to upload the file. Your file will be uploaded along with others'. So use a distinct filename with no spaces: progress_1_sanchez.doc.
Link the File
- Open your page by clicking on your name in the Sidebar page.
- Click Edit Page to edit the page.
- Go to the point where you want the link to your page to occur.
- Click Attach file
- Select the file that you uploaded and click Okay. Double check your page to make sure the page uploaded okay. Note, when you attach a file sometimes pbwiki will select the entire page. DO NOT click delete at this point, for obvious reasons. "-)
- Click Save to save your page. Always check the formatting to make sure the link looks okay and works.
Edit a wiki page. This optino may be the easiest for you as you can just edit the page and start typing. You can also paste in information. If you have an example or link, you can just paste that in too.
