About the internship:

 

I have been fortunate enough to be hired as the Web and Multimedia Intern for the Office of Communications and Marketing (OCM). I am a member of the Web Communications & Multimedia department which is a 6-man team consisting of an editor, web developer, content developer, writer and interns.

 

As the Web and Multimedia intern I am primarily responsible for developing websites and content for the web. I also edit news releases, optimize images for the web, research current trends in web development and will eventually write a few stories.

About the Office of Communications & Marketing:

 

The purpose of the OCM is to help Texas Tech tell its story to the world. This is executed through media relations, broadcast, graphic design, photography and web development. Visit the Office of Communications & Marketing website to learn more about what they do.
